- Where can I take these surveys?
- Do you share my test results with other people?
- I’m a service provider. Can I take those surveys?
- I find it really difficult to search and find good foreign buyers. Can these surveys help me to solve this problem?

It will be a summary of your responses to your questions. So, the more honest you are with your responses, the better it is for others to help you prepare for the ‘trade war’. These survey assessments address the company’s export readiness in each area and suggests specific steps the company can take to build on its strengths and overcome any weaknesses. The best thing is that there is no passing or failing grade, just a simple ‘reality check’ on your level of preparedness in your company or product’s export potential.
The Export Readiness Tests can be taken at home, in the office, or under the supervision of trade counselor.

No. This survey is meant to explore your intentions to enter a new export market. You may try the company focus survey instead and share the result with your ‘ignorant’ management team if they are getting you to trade across border without much consideration of the company’s export potential. You may also be better off reading our blog tips section like how to write an effective email to foreign customers than to expect ‘miracles’ to happen after doing such ‘reality check’.

This survey only considers internal factors than major stakeholder’s factors like government support. Mr. Sunil Sinha aptly described how government can play an important role to help exporters:
“… there is need to improve business support services for small businesses in all professional service sector especially for new startups, reduce investment barriers, re-orient technical and vocational education to serve high growth sectors, implement marketing strategies for each sector, promote Foreign Direct Investment FDI, in fledging sectors, establish public-public, public-private, private-private partnerships to move forward sector strategies and that NEPC needed to launch projects to obtain resources, facilitate and coordinate them”
